The Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić and his deputy Đuro Knežević received in an inaugural visit Brigadier Sun Jilong the newly appointed Military Attaché of the People's Republic of China.

Since Brigadier Sun Jilong is visiting the Directorate for the first time since his appointment, Director Karić introduced him to the legal responsibilities of the Directorate and its role in the security system of BiH. He presented activities aimed at building and strengthening the capacities of the Directorate, related to strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation. He highlighted the work carried out within the framework of securing VIPs and diplomatic and consular representations, as well as aspects of international police cooperation which is under the jurisdiction of the Directorate and takes place through the channels of INTERPOL, EUROPOL, SELEC and liaison officers.

Brigadier Sun Jilong emphasized that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and cooperation between the People's Republic of China and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which represents an additional incentive for further improvement of mutual cooperation. He also expressed his belief that the current cooperation will continue, especially in the area of ​​exchange of experiences and best practices in the field of preserving a safe environment.
