Director Vilić congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States to Bosnia and Herzegovina Michael J. Murphy on his appointment and wished him success in his future work. In continuation of the conversation, the Director introduced the Ambassador with the responsibilities and duties, which the employees of the Directorate perform on a daily basis. He also pointed out the importance of the Directorate, as one of the police agencies at the state level, and its role in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Michael Murphy has shown great interest in the work of the Directorate, as well as in the future planned activities. He emphasized that he had already had the opportunity, on the part of his associates, to become acquainted with the modalities of successful cooperation with the Directorate so far.
On this occasion, the Director thanked for the support provided by the United States Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the areas of improving the material and technical capacities of the Directorate, organizing and implementing trainings for the police officers, as well as exchanging best experiences and practices.
