Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić and his deputy Đuro Knežević received today the police liaison officer of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Manfred Jurčević.
Director Karić welcomed Mr. Jurčević, wished him a successful work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and introduced him to the responsibilities of the Directorate and its role in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also presented the future planned activities included in the Directorate’s Strategic Development Plan, which relate to strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation both with the police bodies in BiH and with international partners, as well as protection of the persons and facilities.
The participants of the meeting emphasized the successful cooperation so far, especially when it comes to the exchange of information through the channels of international police cooperation. The commitment to improving cooperation, which would be implemented through the implementation of joint projects, was also highlighted during the meeting.
