The handover of a donation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Bosnia and Herzegovina was organised today at the premises of the Directorate for Coordination of the Police Bodies of BIH. The donation was handed over to Director Mirsad Vilić by the Chief of Mission of IOM in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms. Laura Lungarotti.
Director Vilić expressed his gratitude to IOM of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which continuously supports the development of the Directorate. He emphasized that the donated equipment is important for the quality performance of the day-to-day jobs and tasks of the Directorate's police officers in the field.
The Chief of Mission of IOM Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms. Laura Lungarotti has pointed out that today’s donation is the continuation of the very successful cooperation that IOM has been realized with the Directorate. In particular, she thanked the members of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, who, within the framework of the support to the Service for Foreigner's Affairs, secure the temporary migration reception centers in BiH (Lipa and Borići in Bihać and Blažuj Ušivak in Sarajevo). She also stated that this aspect of successful cooperation would continue even in the future.
