Agreement on donation was singed by the former head of the EU Police Mission in BiH Commissioner Stefan Feller with the Deputy Minister of Security of BiH Mladen Cavar, Director of the directorate for coordination of police bodies of Bih Himzo Selimovic, Director of the State investigation and protection agency Goran Zubac and Director of Border police of BiH Vinko Dumancic.
Expressing gratitude for the donation, Director Selimovic stressed that it is about finalization of continued support provided by Mission to police structures from BIH over the past term. ’’This is a very significant donation of equipment, vehicles, IT and other police equipment, which will help in a very difficult economic situation and lack of budget resources for continuity of quality adequate equipping police forces in BiH’’, said Selimovic.
Commissioner Stefan Feller congratulated to police agencies in Bih for the recent operational successes in the fight against crime and for the excellent cooperation in this process, assessing that these successes represent the brightest examples from the recent past of Bosnia and Herzegovina.‘’With this donation, we wanted to continue to provide support to law enforcement agencies after the closure of the mission’’, said Feller. He also added that the donation will be awarded to the entity, as well as law enforcement agencies at the cantonal level.
