Invited by the US Embassy in Sarajevo and organised by US State Department, members of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H attended the course "Personnel and Facility Security Course" at the International Law Enforcement Academy – ILEA in Budapest.
The purpose of this two-week course was to prepare police officers for the survaillance and security measures of personnel and facilities in the fight against terrorist threats. Directorate's officers had an opportunity to acquire new knowledge in the field of officials protection utilizing the experience of the american security officers. In addition, officers were also presented with the specific methods, procedures and techniques in terms of personnel and facility protection. Given the international character of the Academy, officers from the Directorate made contacts with participants from other countries and exchanged experiences in this field.
Thanks to the partnership relations between US Embassy in B&H and Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H, officers from Directorate are enabled to attend such prestigious trainings at the International Academy – ILEA.
