In the period from 12 to 19 March 2018, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH hosted the training for the City of Sarajevo Administration employees – Department for Cabinet and Protocol Affairs.
The training “Protection of VIPs and Delegations” was organised at the request of the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo and police officers of the Directorate assumed the role of trainers.
In the course of the seven-day intensive training, the officers of the Directorate presented models of escort and protection of VIPs and delegations, and in addition to the theoretical part they also shared their experiences and practical examples.
On this occasion, the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka visited the Directorate as well and expressed his appreciation to the Director and the police officers of the Directorate who conducted this training in a professional manner. "The Directorate is recognised as a modern police agency which applies contemporary police practices in its work, and I firmly believe that this training will be just one in a series of joint activities, especially when it comes to improvement of the staff and acquisition of new knowledge" said the Mayor Skaka.
Director of the Directorate Mirsad Vilić and Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka handed over certificates to the attendees upon completion of the training.
