The Central Election Commission of BiH sent appreciation letter to director Enes Karić for continuous cooperation and support, which was reflected in quick and efficient actions in ensuring preparatory actions before the Local Elections 2024, ensuring activities on election day and during the days of the postponed elections, as well as pre-election activities.
It was stated that the members of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH made an exceptional contribution in ensuring and coordinating the distribution of election materials as well as in ensuring the implementation of all other aspects of the election process in 2024, performing their duties in a professional, ethical and dignified manner.
Operational Headquarters for securing the 2024 Local Elections in BiH was formed in the premises of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH. Representatives of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, the Border Police of BiH, the State Agency for Investigation and Protection, the Federal Police Administration, as well as representatives of all cantonal MoI in the FBiH participated in the operational headquarters, where the activities aimed at the smooth and safe maintenance of the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina were specified.
Members of the Directorate in coordination with all police institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ensured the transportation of election materials from abroad, the storage of election materials, their distribution to all electoral units, as well as the implementation of a series of security measures for the seat of the Central Election Commission, the Counting Center and warehouses of election materials.
