A presentation on the topic "Implementation of the system of providing psychological help and psychological support to police officers in the Directorate" was held in the premises of the Directorate on 10 September 2024. The management of the Directorate and the senior and middle management staff of all organizational units of the Directorate attended the presentation. The presentation was also attended by representatives of the Institute for Health Protection of Employees of the MoI of Sarajevo Canton, who have been providing full support since the establishment of this system in the Directorate and with whom the Directorate has good cooperation in this field.
The Directorate has previously issued an Instruction on the provision of psychological assistance and support to police officers in the Directorate, which defined the duties of psychologists, police commissioners and managers, which has given positive results since its adoption. The aim of today's presentation was to carry out additional promotion of this System in the Directorate and to reactivate the established system of providing psychological assistance and support to police officers in the Directorate in order to make it sustainable and functional through stronger engagement of the Directorate's management by organizing additional training in the field of social skills for police commissioners and with active cooperation and support of psychologists from the Institute for Health Protection of Employees of MoI Sarajevo Canton.
