The national training on human trafficking was held on 8th December 2022 in the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, with the support of the INTERPOL General Secretariat. The training was organized as one of the INTERPOL activities within the THB Balkans Project, which is financed by the Federal Republic of Germany. The lecturers were INTERPOL's certified trainers – authorized officials from the Service for Foreigners' Affairs and SIPA (State Investigation and Protection Agency).
The representatives of the Ministry of Security
of BiH, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor's office of BiH,
the Border Police of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency, the
Service for Foreigners' Affairs, the Federal Ministry of Interior, the Ministry
of Interior of Republika Srpska, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior, the
Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla
Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton, the Ministry of Interior of
Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Canton 10, the Ministry
of Interior of West Herzegovina Canton, the Ministry of Interior of
Srednjo-Bosanski Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Bosansko-Podrinjski Canton
participated in this training, and upon completion the INTERPOL's officials
presented them with the certificates.
