Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina has successfully implemented basic training in the field of protection of VIPs, which was held from November 10, 2025. to 21.11.2025. The program was implemented in partnership with the Agency for Education and Professional Training of Personnel from Mostar.
During the training, the participants went through contents that include the basic principles of protection of VIPs, planning and organization of security measures, risk assessments, and dealing with situations of increased security threat. Special emphasis was placed on practical segments, where participants practiced techniques and procedures applicable in real operational circumstances.
The program was concluded with a comprehensive tactical demonstration exercise, in which the participants demonstrated the level of mastery of operational techniques and readiness to act in complex situations. This final exercise also represented the main exam through which their overall training was tested.
The training was attended by 18 members of the Directorate, who demonstrated a high professional standard and dedication to the tasks through intensive activities. The training process was led by the Directorate's instructor team, consisting of officers with extensive experience in the field of personal protection, with the support of experts from the partner Agency from Mostar.
Upon completion of the training, all participants were awarded certificates confirming the successful completion of basic training in VIP protection.
