The President of the Organizing Committee for the commemoration of 11 July, 1995, Mr. Hamdija Fejzić, and the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Nermin Alivuković visited today the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, Mr. Fejzić presented a Letter of Appreciation to the director of the Directorate, Mr. Enes Karić in recognition of the exceptional contribution, professional security and continuous support that the Directorate provides in the implementation of the commemoration of the anniversaries of the genocide against Bosniacs in the United Nations protected area - Srebrenica, as well as in the process of burying the identified victims from July 1995.
President Fejzić thanked the Directorate for its many years of engagement, emphasizing that their cooperation and professional contribution are of key importance for the dignified commemoration of the anniversaries of the genocide and that the presence and support of the Directorate represent an important factor in preserving the security and dignity of commemorative events.
The Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Enes Karić, expressed his gratitude for the Letter of Appreciation, emphasizing that it represents recognition to all employees of the Directorate who, through their daily work, contribute to strengthening security and trust.
"In the future, the Directorate will continue to provide full support to activities that contribute to preserving the dignity of commemorating the genocide in Srebrenica, in accordance with legal competences. Our priority remains the creation of a safe environment for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a professional and responsible approach to every task," emphasized Director Karić.
The meeting confirmed the readiness to continue and further improve cooperation, in order to continue cultivating the culture of remembrance, strengthening security and preserving peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina through joint action.
