Director General of SELEC. Dr. Oǧuz Serkant Akin and SELEC Director for Legal and Internal Affairs Tanja Levajkovikj visited today the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they met with the Director of the Directorate Enes Karić and his Deputy Đuro Knežević.
Director Karić welcomed the guests and thanked for the support and trust that SELEC continuously provides to the Directorate through its systems and tools which allow direct access to the various SELEC databases and exchange of information. He also introduced the guests to the legal responsibilities of the Directorate and scope of the work emphasizing the international operational police cooperation that takes place through the Directorate. He particularly emphasized the previous cooperation related to the daily exchange of information between police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and member countries of SELEC.
General Director of SELEC, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akin expressed satisfaction with the visit to the Directorate and praised the work of the Directorate – SELEC, as well as results of numerous international operations that the Directorate coordinated and participated in with other law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also praised the cooperation that takes place through the Directorate, via SELEC channel, especially in the part of information exchange, as well as the implementation of systems and databases.
