Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies Enes Karić and his associates held a working meeting with the heads of Security of international organizations and embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Situational Awareness Working Group”, led by Edin Kovač, Head of Security of the OHR.
Director Karić informed the guest about the responsibilities of the Directorate and its role in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also presented the future planned activities of the Directorate related to the strengthening communication, coordination, and cooperation both with the police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and international partners, as well as the security of persons and facilities that are being protected.
In the continuation of the meeting, the participants discussed the modalities of future cooperation that would be reflected in holding the working meetings by lines of work, organization of study visits, training, and seminars through which, by exchanging experience and best practices, the work of the police officers would be improved.
The participants of the meeting concluded that the previous cooperation with the Directorate took place on a high professional level and that the Directorate was recognized as a reliable and safe partner in the security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
