The Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H undertakes all necessary activities, in terms of special security measures of the Memorial Center "Potočari", on the occasion of marking 22nd anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the UN Safe Zone Srebrenica, which will be held on 11 July 2017.
In order to complete the task effectively, the Directorate established an Operational Headquarters to coordinate all these activities. Apart from the Directorate's representatives, members of the Armed Forces of B&H, Intelligence and Security Agency of B&H, State Investigation and Protection Agency, Border Police of B&H, Service for Foreigners' Affairs, MoI of Republic of Srpska and Federal Police Administration representatives contribute to the Headquarters operation.
Currently, members of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H, in cooperation with all law enforcement agencies in B&H, work on the collection of security-relevant information necessary for effective planning of human and material-technical resources in order to create preconditions for the unhindered holding of the mentioned gathering.
In addition, members of the Directorate participate in the work of the Organising Committee of the commemoration, and also taking part in the Headquarters established by the MoI of Republic of Srpska. The activities concerned will be taking place until the end of the gathering.
