A ceremonial oath-taking ceremony of the fifth generation of cadets of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo today, successfully completing the basic police training for obtaining the rank of "police officer". The cadets attended the training at the Agency for Education and Professional Development of Personnel in Mostar. After several months of theoretical and practical preparation, they acquired the conditions for active involvement in the operational work of the Directorate.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, representatives of state institutions, law enforcement agencies, as well as family members of the cadets. In a solemn atmosphere, the young cadets took an oath in front of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, committing themselves to honorably, responsibly and professionally performing police duties in the service of the security of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Deputy Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ivica Bošnjak and Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina Enes Karić addressed the attendees on this occasion.
The Deputy Minister Bošnjak emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity and dedication in the police service and emphasized that the new police officers face responsible tasks in preserving peace, security and the rule of law in BiH. "Your oath is not just a symbolic act, but also a real obligation to the state, citizens and the law," said Bošnjak.
The Director Karić, in his speech, expressed pride in the success of the fifth generation of cadets and emphasized their key role in further strengthening the Directorate's capacities. "There are challenges in front of you, but also a great honor. Be worthy of the uniform you wear and the service you represent. The Directorate is counting on you and we will continue to support you in your professional development," said Karić.
This solemn oath marks a new step in the continuous improvement of personnel capacities of the Directorate, which contributes to the strengthening of the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.
