The delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Himzo Selimoc, director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mirela Znaor, head of director’s office, participated in the 82nd Session of the General Assembly of Interpol, which was held in Cartagena, Columbia, from 21 - 24 October 2013.
The meeting, under the theme "190 countries, one vision for a safer world" was attended by 144 member countries of Interpol. Participants adopted 15 resolutions in order to strengthen the fight against all forms of organized crime and terrorism. Delegates discussed about the importance of the fight against cybercrime and new trends in counterfeit drugs and other goods. It was highlighted the importance of daily usage and searching the database of Interpol, especially of stolen and lost travel documents.
Director Selimovic during the Assembly had several bilateral meetings with delegations from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Austria.
