The first international jujutsu self-defence seminar was held on Saturday, 30 September 2023, in the organisation of the Directorate for Coordination of the Police Bodies of BiH and JU JUTSU club „Sensei”, as a representative of the World Jujutsu Federation Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The instructors were the renowned European and world masters of martial arts led by Yavor Dynkov Shihan 8thDan WJJF, Osman Ergun Arpaci Renshi 5th Dan WJJF, Željko Dalić 4th dan WJJF and Željko Stjepanović 3rd Dan WJJF.
The seminar was attended by members of the Directorate for Coordination of the Police Bodies of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency BiH, the Border Police BiH, the Federal Police Administration, the Judicial Police of the Federation BiH, the Brčko District Police, the Ministry of Interior of Canton Sarajevo, the Ministry of Interior Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, the Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton and the Ministry of Interior of Canton 10.
The basic police techniques of defence against a baton, knife and gun attacks, as well as defences from hand strike and grip were presented at the first international seminar. All participants actively participated in the performance and presentation of these basic defences techniques.
