The Director of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Enes Karić, and Deputy Director Đuro Knežević held today a working meeting with the Head of the IOM mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Laura Lungarotti.
During the meeting, the three officials spoke about the modalities of future cooperation in the field of migration, and in accordance with the Directorate’s responsibilities, which provides support in securing temporary reception centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Director Karić thanked the IOM for the support in equipping the Directorate. He pointed out that equipping and training the staff is of enormous importance for the quality performance of the daily work and tasks of the Directorate's police officers in the field.
Head of the IOM mission in BiH, Ms. Laura Lungarotti congratulated Director Karić on his appointment and wished him every success in performing his new duties. She expressed her satisfaction with the successful cooperation that the IOM has with the Directorate and stated that it will successfully continue in the future.
