Performs duties as tasks of communication, cooperation and coordination amongst the Bosnia and Herzegovina police bodies, and takes necessary measures and actions in order to coordinate operative tasks of Bosnia and Herzegovina police bodies. Provides communication, cooperation and coordination amongst the Bosnia and Herzegovina police bodies, with respective bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina with regard to issues of police work of international character or of international significance, or with regard to issues within the competence of Bosnia and Herzegovina Court. Ensures implementation of international legal acts on police cooperation within the competence of the Directorate and application of best European and other international practices with regard to policing issues in BiH. Daily gathers and collates of security information relevant for Bosnia and Herzegovina, with monitoring of the security state in BiH and informs competent police and other bodies in BiH.
