Sector for Protection of VIP and Facilities

Sector performs operational, physical and technical protection of VIPs and facilities in the state level (of state significance or interest), and evaluates possible security threat of VIPs or facilities under protection. According to Vienna Convention and other international obligations, Sector offers protection and secures diplomatic facilities, international institutions and foreign diplomatic and consular personnel, and secures foreign delegations when paying visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 The work of the Sector is organized through:

2. Unit for security of VIP delegations.

Section for security of facilities;

1. Unit za for security of VIP facilities,

2. Unit for security of foreign diplomatic and consular representations and residences,

3. Unit for security Banja Luka,

5. Unit for security Tuzla.

Section for operational support;

1. Operational duty room,

2. Section for threat assesment,

3. Section for anti-diversion, bio-chemical and sanitary protection and i

4. Unit for intervention and support.
